Exploring the Potential of IPE as a means to Preparing Graduates for Collaborative Practice

This session will explore the critical role of Interprofessional Education (IPE) in advancing healthcare quality and safety. Participants will gain insights into how collaborative learning across various healthcare disciplines fosters a team-based approach, leading to improved patient outcomes. The panel will highlight how IPE promotes better communication, reduces medical errors, and enhances overall care coordination. The panel will review best educational practices determined from their own experiences and from other CAHME Accredited programs.  Attendees will learn strategies for implementing effective IPE programs to support a culture of safety and excellence for workforce development.
